Unlocking multigene delivery in primary cells

May 04, 2016

Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS) were efficiently transduced with a MultiPrime baculovirus encoding for multiple proteins.

SynSignal partner Imre Berger (University of Bristol) is part of the team which developed a baculovirus-based tool-kit for highly efficient multigene delivery in a wide range of mammalian cells including stem cells, fibroblasts, neurons and many others. Their novel MultiPrime system can be used for reprogramming fibroblasts into neurons and for precision editing of human chromosomes. All findings have been published in Nature Communications.
